Microsoft 365 for Jira - Comparison table (Cloud vs. DC, exchange online vs. exchange on-premise

On Jira Cloud, there are no special requirements, everything is supported out of the box. We always support the versions of Jira Data Center that are also in active support from Atlassian. While some of the functionality might work in self-hosted (Exchange) or hybrid scenarios, due to limitation on Microsoft side some features aren’t supported. Below you’ll find an overview:

1 It is not reliable how Microsoft allows exchange on-premise users use MS Teams which is a cloud only solution using their same email addresses. There might be a copy from their directory.
