Scheduler/Timeline view

Depending on which data you want to display in a Confluence calendar, the view can be adjusted to fit your needs the best way possible. Whether you want to display maintenance calendars, get an overview on holidays or plan your next roadmap, the scheduler view might be the view of your choice.

As a rule of thumb, you can say, that the more events you want to show on a calendar, the smaller the duration should be. In some cases, adjusting the granularity of the grouping will enhance the usability of the scheduler view.

Keep in mind, that the scheduler view duration of 30 and 90 days might cause issues with performance. Not only on the calendar itself, but also for Jira and Outlook, specially if you have a lot of calendars on a page. It is best to choose the duration that finds the sweet spot between performance and usability.
