Some users may see a warning when viewing a Jira issue near features like starting a chat, sending an email, or navigating an admin settings page. The warning states the app might stop working soon (see example screenshots below).
First, don’t worry. The app is fully operational, and we are aware of the upcoming change. Atlassian implemented this warning because all apps must migrate from the connect framework to the forge framework by December 2026.
