Problems with Project Chat Automation and issue updates in Teams

When automating project chat creation by a service user, the bot (Smart Connect for Jira or Customer Portal app in Teams) may not post updates, such as issue resolved cards or issue transition cards.

Because the service user creating chats requires app access in Teams, it cannot add the app to chats without permissions. You must adjust your policy to ensure the app is available and installed for the service user in Teams.

Navigate to your Teams admin center, open the Portal/Smart Connect app under Manage apps, and edit the availability or install option:
